Tour d'COPS 2013 is in planning stages! January 27-February 2, 2013 Things are changing- The economy has taken it's toll. Because of rising costs of travel and new taxes we are changing our program A small number of the ususal suspects gathered in 2012 We enjoyed some 'bluebird' days, fresh snow and sleeping in! For 2013 we hope to bring back some racing for those who want!!!!! Looks like the Over-the-hill-Downhill will continue!
Tour de COPS originated in the late 80's as a means of selecting Canadian Police Service Members to participate in International Competitions. Over the past 25 plus years the event has evolved into a fun competition for Law Enforcement Officers, friends and family from around the world. For many years we have enjoyed the distinction of being the only Police Ski event that offers a Down Hill race. We are focusing on re-building our numbers! This is a great event at a great mountain! We are working with the mountain to offer a program that has something for everyone! In 2011 we were able to raise just over $1000. for The Canadian Cancer Society!!!
