Seed race order is based on the order that entries are received!!

THERE IS A LIMIT OF 85 ENTRIES FOR THIS EVENT.
This allows everyone to ski the same course in a reasonable amount of time and keeps the course from getting too torn up. Seed race bibs are assigned by the order that paid entries are received

Guest Racers:Each Police Skier is allowed one 'guest racer' (this number can be negotiated depending on the number of entrants) Police Racers be given priority over extra guests if they are registered and have PAID their entry fees prior to December 15, 2007.

Awards:Skiers/boarders are divided by Police/Non-Police, Age, Gender and ability. There is a perpetual trophy for 'The Fastest Man on the Mountain, " based on cummulative time on all races for the week.

THE COST FACTOR: As with most of the Police Ski Competitions the cost of putting together these events increases from year to year. Sponsorship helps a great deal to defer some of the costs and we very much appreciate all of our Sponsors.
If you do a little math you will find that Tour de COPS is one of the best bargains around. Most of us figure that the week of fun and frivolity will cost about $1100. That includes all of your skiing, racing, coaching, 2 evening meals, apres ski snacks and beverages on the other 3 nights and lodging.
